Refreshing seaside living

There’s a condo living in the city, then there’s a condo living by the sea—and while both have their unique features that offer comfort to residents, only one of them can say its “amenities” include fresh sea breeze and breathtaking views of natural wonders.

Hamilo Coast’s luxury seaside sanctuary Freia is replete with open spaces so one can feel the sea breeze along the corridors, covered walkways, and inside the spacious residences with oversized balconies.

Since it’s in a beachfront community, its contemporary tropical architecture captures the expansive views of the sea, mountains, and man-made Pico Lagoon. Freia’s distinctive three-step roofline mimics the rugged hillside terrain, while the warm color scheme and textures of the building materials easily meld with the natural surroundings.

Architect Arni Villanueva of GF + Partners Architect, Broadway Malyan’s local counterpart, says the materials are sourced locally to lessen their carbon footprint.

Each unit boasts ample space and oversized balconies where the fresh breeze can be enjoyed.

Sizes of two-bedroom condos vary from 67 square meters to 154 square meters, while the cuts of three-bedroom loft penthouses, which range from 221 to 392 square meters, are as large as a house. Only 223 units are built to ensure a few units and more space per floor.

“Units are outfitted with high-quality fixtures to assure the security and well-being of its residents,” says Villanueva.

Unlike other condo developments that come with a bare concrete ceiling which makes it challenging to renovate or install fixtures, Freia’s units, Villanueva says, are built with a drop ceiling for easy placement of lighting fixtures and flexibility in lighting design.

The sea view units inspire a socially active lifestyle. The hillside units, on the other hand, are open to views of forested slopes and vivid skies.

Residents of tropical luxury condominium Freia are treated to exclusive amenities like swimming pools and themed gardens designed by landscape architect Crearis, as well as expansive views of the sea, mountains, and the man-made Pico Lagoon.

Each unit comes with a Pico de Loro Beach and Country Club individual membership share bundled with the condo price. Designed with the owner as of the end-user, Freia’s units are not to be leased for rentals, thus giving another layer of security aside from the stringent club membership screening.

Residents can enjoy various facilities and amenities available in the community.
